Course Venues - Inspiring Locations
Outward Bound courses are delivered at our own dedicated training facilities – a choice of five centres located across England, Scotland and Wales.  Every centre is in an impressive mountain location, each has its unique character, and all are managed and staffed by an experienced and knowledgeable team of trainers.
Aberdovey, Snowdonia National Park
Ullswater, Lake District National Park
Howtown, Lake District National Park
Eskdale - The Gate House, Lake District National Park
Loch Eil, Highlands, Scotland

WALES - Snowdonia

Aberdovey

The centre stands above the fishing village of Aberdovey, overlooking the Dovey Estuary. It has easy access to the mountain ranges of mid-Wales as well as its own waterfront activity centre.

Howtown

Our newest centre, Howtown, with its purpose built accommodation, is situated on the southern side of Ullswater. Backed by the imposing ridge of the High Street fells, this is an inspirational place to be based.

Originally built in 1896 as a country retreat, this impressive hall was converted into a centre for Outward Bound in 1950.  Located on the edge of Eskdale Green village, the centre sits just west of the highest peaks in the Lake District National Park.
