Outward Bound works with a wide variety
of young people from all over the UK
aged between 11 and 24 years old. In the
past three years alone, more than 80,000
young people have benefited from an
Outward Bound course. We strive to
make Outward Bound available to
all young people regardless of their
background or financial situation.
Many of the participants we work with
suffer from low self-esteem, poor
educational achievement and an inability
to trust others. Through challenge and
adventure in the outdoors, we provide
them with the opportunity to broaden their
horizons and gain the confidence needed
to make positive choices in life.
